The wedding designs feature the history of the traditions and customs that surround present day weddings and their ceremonies; from the history of the gold wedding band to the reason why the Bride and Groom are showered with confetti by their guests after the actual wedding ceremony has taken place.

Miniature objects have been incorporated to illustrate a particular custom or tradition. These miniatures are beautifully crafted from rolled and gold plate, glass and various other high quality metals and materials.

Each design is set in a stunning wooden box frame with a natural ash finish. The text of the history has been exquisitely re-produced in gold foil on to a soft cream cotton card background. All of the designs are personalised with the name of the Bride and Groom and the date of their wedding day engraved on to a brass plate, making it a truly individual and personal gift.

We offer one design that can house a photograph of the wedding couple. Each design is handmade in London and signed and dated by the artist. Finally it is wrapped in white acid-free tissue paper and housed in a beautiful handmade white presentation box.

We have created two very special and unique memory/keepsake boxes made from solid English oak. The wedding designs are incorporated into the lids of these boxes. These memory boxes have been created to house your most treasured memories in the form of photographs, cards, letters and keepsakes.

Elizabeth Young Designs has also created five designs to commemorate the birth and Christening of a baby. Each design features the history of illustrated toys and the christening gifts. All designs are personalised with the name of the baby and the date of their birth or christening. One design features a photograph of the baby set in a brass photograph frame. There are two memory/keepsake boxes in this range.
